Where the product stands today

Both platforms build as version 2.7.3. The macOS bundle is build 274; the Windows package records a version only, with no separate build number. No public download is open yet. The Mac installer has not finished Apple's signing and notarization checks, so macOS stays on the waitlist; the Windows installers are not signed either, so their buttons stay closed. The release ledger shows the same state live, read from the record the apps themselves check.

  • macOS: version 2.7.3, build 274, Apple silicon, macOS 14 or later.
  • Windows: version 2.7.3, x64 and arm64, Windows 10 build 19045 or later.
  • Last published Mac update: version 2.4.3, build 10, offered to existing installations on 2026-07-09.
  • Windows: no public release yet. The first one will be 2.7.3.

2.7.3, build 274

Recorded 2026-10-19

The macOS build number moved to 272 and 273 on 2026-10-02, and to 274 on 2026-10-19. Those are build steps inside one version line, not three releases: no 2.7.3 build has been published, and none will be until both platforms clear signing and verification. The work that line carries is recorded below as the current milestone, because the changelog tracks it as one unreleased milestone rather than as notes per build.

Current milestone

Recorded as v0.1.0-internal · not part of any public release

Added

  • AirPods and Bluetooth battery — left, right and case percentage for AirPods 1, 2, Pro, Max and 4 as well as Beats, plus generic single-cell Bluetooth devices. Built on IOKit alone, with no private framework.
  • Per-app contextual content — the panel adapts to the frontmost app, with providers for Xcode, Safari, Calendar and the Terminal family, plus a generic fallback. Event-driven with a 300 ms debounce: no polling, no screen recording, no accessibility-tree access.
  • Focus timer — a sleep timer that pauses media with an optional fade-out, and a Pomodoro cycle of 25, 5 and 15 minutes, in one micro-module. The state survives a relaunch.
  • Brand layer — locked design tokens, a light and dark asset catalog, semantic colour aliases and a type-safe token API. Purple is reserved for the Pro tier.
  • Accessibility pass — VoiceOver labels across the notch interface, Reduce Motion respected on every entrance, close and progress animation, an Increase Contrast modifier, and keyboard focus rings on the new interactive surfaces.

Changed

  • Hardened Runtime on the XPC helper — release builds sign the helper with runtime protections enabled, which is the shape a future notarized build needs.
  • Swift 6 strict concurrency — code owned by this fork is warning-clean under strict mode. Older warnings inherited from upstream are documented and out of scope for this milestone.

Known limits

  • The milestone is ad-hoc signed only, so Gatekeeper asks for a manual override on first launch. Installation instructions come with the download when it opens.
  • It targets macOS 14 and later and was tested on macOS 15. The macOS 14 paths exist but were not verified on hardware during that milestone.
  • Dynamic Type does not apply inside the notch, because the camera-housing surface has a fixed geometry.
  • Third-party headphones that do not expose battery keys show their name and no percentage.

Every recorded build

One row per version and build number that a record names. Dates are the ISO date carried by that record. A dash means the record does not name a build number.

Build numbers here are the macOS bundle version, which is the only place a build number is recorded. The Windows package records a version and no build number, so no build number is claimed for it.

2.0.0-beta

2026-05-24 · the first entry the changelog records

This entry carries the only detailed change list older than the current milestone. It is kept here because everything after it builds on it.

Added

  • An AI chat hub with streamed replies, model selection and macro presets.
  • A drop tray for AirDrop, opened by dragging a file towards it.
  • Sticky notes that persist between launches.
  • Now-playing metadata, spring animations and media-key feedback in the heads-up display.
  • A panel shadow system, a dormant info bar with a CPU sparkline, and a dormant breathing animation.
  • Spring-physics transitions for morphing, corner radius and material cross-fades.
  • A license client with streamed responses, and Keychain storage for session tokens.

Changed

  • The AI module moved from Free to Pro.
  • Tap-to-dismiss was extended to every panel state.
  • The device fingerprint changed from a hostname hash to a SHA-256 digest of the hardware UUID.
  • A brand-compliance pass removed raw colour literals, stray framework imports and per-screen dark-mode overrides.

Fixed

  • A crash in the stats collector when a network counter wrapped around.
  • Tap-to-dismiss missing from several panel states.
  • The calendar permission prompt that appeared on first launch.

Security

  • Rate-limit headers, 429 responses and strict input validation on the API.
  • Session tokens kept in the Keychain, and a hardware-bound device fingerprint.
  • A documented access-control matrix covering four roles and nine endpoints.

Where this comes from

Three records and nothing else: the repository changelog, which follows the Keep a Changelog format; the version-bump commits, which fix each build number to a date; and the published macOS update feed, which is the only source for what existing installations are offered. Where a record names a version without a change list, this page prints the build number and says no more.

For availability rather than history, open the release ledger or the download center. Both read the live release record rather than this page's summary of it.
